l go beyond seeing the local color\, and learn to use color in more expres
sive ways to bring life to our paintings. Learning to see a full spectrum
of colors gives us an opportunity to create radiant dynamic paintings. We
will begin with a few painting exercises exploring the relationship betwee
n colors and values\; how we perceive them relative to their surroundings\
, light\, time of day\, atmosphere and distance. The power of an underpain
ting will also be discussed\, as well as finding the colors in cast shadow
s and overcast days. Learning to use color effectively to add a radiant gl
ow can move your painting up to the next level!\n\n[/bt_bb_text][bt_bb_sep
