 dents will move from idea to illustration\, and learn to plan\, pace\, and
  polish a traditional picture book. We will discuss fundamentals of childr
 en's illustration\, story structure\, composition\, and the all-important 
 page turns\; participants will develop and revise thumbnail sketches to cr
 eate a dummy (sample) book. Whether you’re looking to explore the publis
 hing industry or simply create a touching gift for family and friends\, th
 is workshop provides a solid foundation in story structure\, page specific
 ations\, and self-publishing. No formal experience is required\, but some
