  • Non-members $80\n\nYou might have heard that painting with a palette 
 knife is difficult\, but once you have taken this class you will find that
  it is as easy as spreading frosting on a cake! Painting with a palette kn
 ife is a great way to add expressive color and texture to your artwork. In
  this class we will use several different techniques including impasto (th
 ick paint) sgraffito (scraping through the paint to reveal the color under
 neath---think cool skinny lines!!) scumbling\, creating texture\, blending
  colors on the canvas\, and combining palette knife and brushwork. All mat
 erials will be provided by MAL. We will be painting on 11" x 14" canvas bo
