Color and Atmospheric Perspective are closely related to each other. Day 1: you will learn how to match and mix any color; you will practice by making a very simple painting in your medium of choice (oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache). The day is focused specifically on matching and mixing colors to create painted lighting effects. Day 2: will focus on how to use Linear Perspective and Atmospheric Perspective. Students bring their own supplies in their medium of choice, plus a drawing pad that is a minimum 11×14. The $15 materials fee is for reference photos and miscellaneous supplemental materials, such as important colors, mediums, etc. provided by instructor, that you may be missing.
