We will discuss fundamentals of children’s illustration, story structure, composition, and the all-important page turns; participants will develop and revise thumbnail sketches to create a dummy (sample) book. Whether you’re looking to explore the publishing industry or simply create a touching gift for family and friends, this workshop provides a solid foundation in story structure, page specifications, and self-publishing. No formal experience is required, but some experience sketching/drawing is recommended.
