Please gather with us on October 7th from 9 am to 3 pm to rediscover your senses through free family-friendly art activities on Park Avenue in downtown Milford. Save the date and get ready to join this creative community event. The Festival is for all ages – anyone looking to have a fun art-making experience. Come out and engage your senses to create art.
The Big Draw Festival was first organized in 2000 in the UK and is now the world’s largest celebration of drawing with over 500,000 participating each year. It promotes the universal language of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement. This year’s theme, “Drawing with Senses” is a call back to our sense of self and what we experience in the moment. The MAL will offer activities that will engage your senses – touch, sight, sound taste and smell – to create art.
MAL welcomes everyone who loves art and believes in its power to enrich all member of the community. Our mission is to provide community-wide access to a quality arts program. Join MAL and support it financially to make an investment in the community.
The Mispillion Art League is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This organization is supported in part by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
