The 2024 Mispillion Art League Annual Student Show will run from April 30th until May 17th in the art league’s #5 N. Walnut St. gallery. In its 18th year, this exciting show has become a community tradition. A “Meet the Artists” reception for the Mispillion Art League’s Annual Student Show, is on Friday evening, May 3rd from 5:00 until 7:30 in the main gallery. By showcasing the work of students from kindergarten through twelfth grades, this annual event demonstrates to the public the high quality of Milford’s visual arts education program and recognizes the excellent art educators of the Milford School District. In this way, we reinforce to the community how important the arts are to our children’s education. Evidence shows that a strong quality arts curriculum builds learning skills, increases academic performance, and provides opportunities to reward the skills of children, especially those who learn differently. At this reception we will recognize the commitment of our leaders and educators to a strong arts program in our public schools.
