In this pastel class you will continue develop and fine-tune your basic drawing skills while developing the ability to see and represent a full range of light, shadow, and color. Advance your soft pastel techniques as you learn color blocking, color layering, blending, and scumbling. Each week will introduce a new project with its own unique learning objectives. The last class will be dedicated to an open studio where you will have the opportunity complete your drawings from previous classes or work on your own pastel painting with individual instructor guidance and feedback as desired.
