Materials fee: Yes, $10. Pay directly to instructor. Members: 30; Nonmember: 37 Description: Learn to quilt-as-you-go (QAYG) and make what’s called a Mug Rug, it’s basically an oversized coaster. We will be using the traditional Log Cabin quilt to construct our mug rugs. Quilting basics included in the process: piecing, quilting, pinning, and binding. Basic color theory and value will be included. Quilting Fabric scraps will be included, as will the rest of the materials. Bring a new quilting needle & 100% cotton thread with your machine (machine required). If you would like a specific fabric please bring it with you to class.
