Description: Ready to start (or restart) your machine sewing journey? This hands-on, beginner-friendly class is designed especially for teens with little to no sewing experience. You’ll learn the essentials of using a sewing machine, including sewing safety, identifying machine parts and their functions, threading, needle selection, and basic sewing terminology.
We’ll also explore how to read and lay out flat patterns. By the end of the class, you’ll put your new skills to use by creating your very own seashell bag—a fun project to take home and enjoy on your next day on the beach!
