Learn the beautiful art of painting on silk using vibrant Dyna-flow colors. Students will begin of the first day creating a simple design on a 22″ square piece of silk which can be used as a scarf or as a wall hanging. They will learn techniques using water-based resist, and learn to create seamless blending of color. A few “special effects” such as tie-dye and sprinkling with salt for amazing textures will be covered as well. On the second day the students will learn to set the color and remove the resist. The result is a lovely one-of-a-kind work wearable art to keep or give as a gift.
